Katarzyna Ewa Bernatowicz Biography
Katarzyna was born and raised in Nowa Deba, Poland. At the age of 17, she immigrated to the United States. She started going to high school while successfully managing a job as a receptionist. She graduated high school and started attending Bergen Community College and taking courses in computer science while managing a job as a jewelry sales associate. She earned her Associates Degree in science with honors and went to work as a medical receptionist for a busy pediatric office in Wallington, New Jersey. Her hard work and determination paid off very soon and she became a medical office manager with multiple responsibilities. She left this job after 10 years to realize her dream of becoming a mother.
Together with her husband Peter she left the state of New Jersey in 2005 and purchased a home in the beautiful Pocono Mountains. She took a few years off from work to care for their two daughters.
Living in the Pocono Mountains allowed the family to enjoy the gorgeous outdoors and activities like hiking, biking, swimming, kayaking, and skiing, which have become the family’s’ favorite things to do. When Katarzyna & Peter’s daughters went to school, Katarzyna took over a family housekeeping business. She managed and operated the business for about 10 years.
Being a homeowner for 23 years both in New Jersey and then Pennsylvania, Katarzyna will never forget the joy she felt after buying each of her homes. This is why she would now like to help others find their perfect place to call home and re-create that feeling for them. She hopes to exceed her client’s expectations in all of their real estate needs.
